Forklift Operation

ID : 994
« back to classes page
This is a 3-day class (24 hours, M-W) for beginning operators and operators who have forklift experience but have never been through a formal training course. Almost every workplace has at least one forklift and most often more than one person is needed to be able to safely operate these machines. Hazards associated with these machines require specialized knowledge to prevent injury and serious accidents. Due to these potential hazards, federal and state laws require all operators to be trained in all aspects of forklift operation.

These classes will equip the operator with all the safety, maintenance, and operating skills needed to use the forklift properly and effectively. Students who complete the course will receive a certificate to verify training for potential employment purposes.
